Common Area Maintenance consists of a growing collection of community-run spaces, including Common Area, Common Objects, a woodshop, a printshop, and a bookshop (coming soon!).

Common Area hosts a full wood shop which we use as a resource for the whole community.

Printshop

Common Area hosts a full printshop that supports our vibrant printmaking community. We currently operate three risograph printers, two etching presses and have a mixture of bindery equipment, printmaking tools, screen printing and supplies - but we’re up for incorporating more working methods!

As a press, we host workshops + classes, participate in the local book fairs (Short Run, SABF, Olympia Zine Fest, etc.), and take an active part in the small press community in the PNW (hosting gatherings and a distro).
