Common Objects Bookstore Submission Form

Hello and thank you for your interest in consigning your books and other media in the Common Objects Bookstore!

Common Objects Bookstore (COB) is a community-driven space dedicated to celebrating the art of making. We provide a platform for independent writers, artists, and creators to share their work in a welcoming environment where everyone is invited to gather, connect, and discover. Our focus is on amplifying voices and publications that may not have other outlets, fostering a culture of creativity, generosity, and joy. While we prioritize WA (local) artists, everyone is welcome to submit!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please complete this interest form to tell us more about your work. We review submissions on a rolling 3-month basis, and if there’s a good fit, your work will be available for consignment in the following quarter. You’ll receive our decision by email within 15 days of the submission deadline; if approved, it will include a consignment form and drop-off times/delivery options. Consignment details are available on the COB website https://www.camseattle.org/bookstore.

Work that contains AI-generated art or promotes discriminatory content will not be accepted.

We will not be printing or producing work, so please make sure your submissions are complete, printed, and ready for display to sell. We recommend having 15 of each item available for inventory.

This submission form is for both the stand-alone bookstore location at Common Objects AND the Mobile Bookstore.

Common Area Maintenance (CAM) attends various events and festivals throughout the year with our Mobile Bookstore - a Japanese firetruck transformed into a mini bookstore on wheels! Your work will be considered for placement in the Mobile Bookstore at CAM’s discretion depending on festival theme, storage limits, etc.
