CAM is an indie, leftist, anti-capitalist space, built by artists, for artists - we prioritize access to tools and resources, facilitating creative play, and taking an intentional role in our community. Our Printshop is a resource for our communities and we are looking for folks that are excited to get involved!

For only $150/month, CAM printshop members have 24/7 access to two Risograph machines, a drum library with XX colors (TODO: add number of colors), and a shop full of other printing resources and tools.

Being part of the CAM printshop means joining a community of printers who are excited to connect, share skills and knowledge, and collaborate.

CAM offers many opportunities to printshop members including selling work in the Common Objects Bookstore, teaching classes and workshops, participating in art fairs and festivals, showing your work in CAM gallery shows, and connecting with artist and writer members across both of our studios.

Mail Art Club

The Mail Art Club is a vital source of fundraising and support for the work we do at CAM. People who offer ongoing monthly donations to our organization receive packets of art by local artists, printed by CAM members in our printshop. It’s our way of saying thank you to the community members who help us keep CAM thriving, and it’s an exciting way to share the work of artists we love with a broad audience.

We are always looking for printshop members who want to support the mail art club by:

  • assisting with the printing, packaging and mailing of art

  • documenting the printing process and sharing it on social media

  • helping us find new donors who are excited about supporting local artists through direct outreach, email campaigns and social media

TODO: Replace with pics of Mail Art Club past prints

Print For Production

CAM offers printing services for the public at competitive rates (TODO: link to print for production info page)
